My name is Daniel Timisan, (my friends call me Dani) and I was born and raised in Timisoara, Romania (Central-East Europe). When I was 17 God reached to me through a family of missionaries that moved to my home city from WA, USA, and overwhelmed my heart with his love and grace. The understanding of His infinite and unconditioned love made me go on my knees and ask Jesus to be the Lord of my life and my personal Savior.
Gradually, as I was seeking God’s will and plans for my life, He made me see and understand that people’ souls are eternal and everything that matters to Him. This is why He had sent His only Son to die on the cross, so we can have eternal life and the hope of dwelling in His presence forever. God made a way through Christ, and Jesus paid the full price, now … our responsibility is to reach to those people who are lost with this message of salvation and hope. And this is the only thing truly worth investing and spending your life for.
Understanding all this, I have dropped my sound engineering carrier and I pursued a degree in Theology and Psychology, as God had planted in my heart a passion and desire to work as a Christian Counselor with missionaries that are in His harvest, providing emotional and spiritual support by visiting them where they are in the mission field.
I am not there yet, but as I walk towards this vision and ministry that God had planted deep in my heart, He has called me to go on this mission trip for 6 months in Kenya. I am not sure why He wants me to do this now, in this season of my life, but I am trying to be obedient and to trust His wisdom and plans, knowing that he is taking me there to people who are living in darkness and who are lost and without any future and hope.
